Roles and responsibilities of QA/QC Engineer


The basic function of Quality Assurance/Quality Control  Engineers is to ensure the quality of products by involved in every stage of production, starting with development of drawing, incoming inspection, inprocess inspection, final inspection and pre-despatch inspection at the last packing and loading. Depends on size of the industry there will be a different departments for each process.

The QC engineers also responsible for calibration of instruments and tools and tackles used in the industry. In some cases they also looking after company certification, conducting internal audits arranging external audits. 

 The Process flow of the QC dept. is

Step 1:
Development drawings, Preparation of Quality plan, Raw material inspection, instrument inspections, documents or reports.

Step 2:
Inprocess inspections or manufacturing inspections, trainings, calibration and testing, documents or reports.

 Step 3: 
Final or finished products, Customer satisfaction, improvements can be implemented.
